Eun-Ah, About to turn her face (Revealing her face)

Eun-ah (은아) also known as "The Girl Student Who Is Hiding Her Face" in the remake, known as Mi-suk (미숙) or "The Reversed Ghost" in the original game, is the ghost of a girl student who had her face accidentally burned by chemicals in Yeondu Highschool.

GameplayEdit

In the original game, Mi-Suk does not appear, however, she does make an appearance in the prototype version known as White Day: Blood Festival. Her Remake appearance is similar to the prototype.[note 1]

In the Remake, known as Eun-ah (은아), She appears in the music room, instead of the Spider Ghost from the original whiteday. She is sitting on a chair, doing nothing. if you go near her, she will stand up, and an event starts.

She will sing "The Roses of Sharon Have Blossomed" in Korean "(Hangul: 무궁화 꽃이 피었습니다 ; RRmu-gung-hwa kkoch-i pieossseub nida)"[note 2] Beating her is similar to beating the Spider Ghost, you have to find her and use / shine the Plate Taegeuk on her before she turns her head, as her speaking speed will getting faster and faster; until she turns her head.

The Ghost StoryEdit

The Reversed Ghost

The Main Building's chemistry room is famous for ghost sightings. On rainy days, people go to visit the 3rd and 4th floors of the Main Building's second area because of the accident in the chemistry room a long time ago.

During a science lesson, the room suddenly shook and the apparatuses with acid and toxic fumes cracked open. Mi-suk was next to the apparatuses and burnt her face, leaving half of it completely mutilated. She was rushed to the medical room, but they couldn't help her.

From there on, her life was isolated from outside. She went through a phase of depression and was so intensely upset, that one night, she climbed up onto the roof of her parents house while they were out, and jumped down below to the concrete path; She wanted her face to hit the floor first...

People still see Mi-suk around the chemistry room of the 2nd area of the Main Building, with her back to everyone.

She hides her face so no one sees it, but there have been reports of people who have seen her face... They went missing.

The Lost Face

Other NotesEdit

Reversed ghost

Reversed ghost in blood festival trailer

  • Mi-suk was initially confused with Woman in the closet who is mentioned in School Ghost Stories 4. Although Story 9 explicitly states Mi-suk is the girl that got her face burnt and her role as a ghost is detailed in the last sentence. Her in-game appearance was also confused with the Head Ghost Lady.
  • She does not appear in the original game but a ghost matching the ghost story description appeared in a trailer for the prototype version of the first game, in which people thought it's "The Reversed Ghost" known as Mi-suk; whom were cut from the final game. Her remake appearance is similar to that Trailer, Implying further that it is her.
  • "무궁화 꽃이 피었습니다 / mu-gung-hwa kkoch-i pieossseub nida" (The Roses of Sharon have blossomed" Is a typical asian game that children play, where the person singing this will sing repeatedly faster and faster and eventually turns his head, the person seen first loses.
  • In remake version, The Reversed Ghost, Mi-suk has been renamed as Eun-ah, but there is still a girl who is named Mi-suk in The Lost Face, who attacked Eun-ah's face.

Notes:

  1. Reversed ghost / 돌아앉은 귀신 (Turned-sitting ghost or Sitting back ghost), Many people supposed that ghost which appears in Blood festival trailer, is Reversed ghost. Now it's added in the remake and it looks similar.
  2. "무궁화 꽃이 피었습니다" means "The roses of Sharon have blossomed." and it's a korean amusement. It's like "Statues" from the US and "Grandmother's footsteps" from the UK.
